Action Comics #252 - Published by DC Comics in May 1959, this landmark Silver Age issue introduces the iconic Supergirl from Krypton.

The cover announces "Introducing: The Supergirl from Krypton! Is She Friend or Foe?" as Superman encounters a mysterious flying girl with identical powers to his own. This historic first appearance of Supergirl (Kara Zor-El), created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino, becomes one of the most significant character introductions in DC Comics history. The issue also features Superman meeting the alien robot Metallos in an additional story.
