Astro City #8, NM Image/Homage 1997

Astro City No. 8 — An early Kurt Busiek issue that continues the series’ character-driven, human‑scale exploration of superhero life in Astro City through interconnected short stories and moral dilemmas. Art by Brent Anderson with contributions from Blyberg, Sinclair, Ross and Comicraft; the striking cover features a gallery of heroes crossed out around a central symbol. Part of the Image/Homage run, this issue focuses on the consequences and public perception of the city’s costumed figures.
