Kekkaishi Volume 28 - Published by Shonen Sunday/Viz Media, this supernatural action series by Yellow Tanabe continues the adventures of Yoshimori Sumimura, a talented young demon-hunter specializing in creating magical barriers.
By night, teenager Yoshimori Sumimura is a "kekkaishi"—a demon-hunter who specializes in creating magical barriers around his prey. By day, Yoshimori has other demons to battle, including an addiction to sweets and a seriously crotchety grandfather. His pretty neighbor and childhood friend, Tokine Yukimura, is also a kekkaishi, but their families are feuding over who is the true practitioner of the art. This volume continues escalating tensions as a powerful witch prepares to unleash a final devastating assault on Karasumori. Meanwhile, Yoshimori's brother Masamori discovers that a different type of mind control is corrupting the Shadow Organization, forcing the Council of Twelve to grapple with trust and duty as dark magical forces threaten humanity.
